I have never been involved in an online, or any other for that matter, community that has so many knowledgeable and selfless members. I have always been a fairly accomplished around a grill, smoker, or kitchen appliance but this place has increased my food preparing prowess ten fold.

Thanks to whom ever told me linseed oil puts a coat of armor on metal. The inside of my drum and my lid have what seems like a coat of armor on them...i'm not worried at all about rust. 

Thanks to JJ for an incredible finishing sauce...great ribs tonight on the  maiden voyage for my newly built UDS

Thanks to all the people saying how good UDS cookers are... incredibly efficient, w/ in a 30 minutes i was emptying my ash and the all the left over charcoal was cool as a cucumber.
