Hi.

My title was pretty stupid, but I've kind of always wanted to say that and this was a good opportunity.

My name is Matt and I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah.  I've been creeping on these forums for a while and found a lot of helpful hints, so thank you to anyone who's been a part of that.  I use an "ugly barrel/drum smoker" and it's been fantastic.  

Today I'm upping the ante by smoking a pork butt, 6lbs of fresh salmon and a whole chicken, and I'm hoping it goes off like gangbusters.  Anyone else use ugly barrel smokers?

Anyway, this is a great site.  Thanks.
 
Welcome to the forums, Matt!  Glad you joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...Smoking and Grilling great food!  Lots of friendly and knowledge folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty.  I don't use a UDS, but there are many here who do.  Check out the UDS forum for lots of good info.  Good luck with your pork butt smoke, and be sure to let us know how it goes!
