WooHoo!!! Of course it froze last night again. Good thing I picked these! This was all that was up. We haven't even started our seeds yet indoors.
That's pretty close to what I did!a little olive oil, smoked kosher salt and fresh ground pepper on the grill. you can't go wrong.

Thanks!!!! We would like a whole basket and bowl too! Suppossed to be in the 70's for a week+. So that will get it popping up, as long as it doesn't freeze too hard every night, which it might! This patch of asparagus is at my mom's house and has been producing for 30+ years!that looks so good. i wish i had a bushel basket full.

Take it to the next level and wrap it in bacon then fry it, oh man!love fresh asperagus!
mine is just starting to pop through here in north central Illinois
last year I battered and deep fried some. it was fantastic that way too!
