Yesterday I finally did my trip-tips. Have never cooked them before and I will do them again. Got Black Betty all fired up and tried a new technique with her...indirect heat. Had marinated the Tri's in some Moore's marinade. Was going to do them on Sunday...but it rained all day. So the marinade really turned the tips dark...but what the hay! Off they go into Black Betty!
I found these at Costco a couple of months ago. Pulled them out to thaw.
Used a TupperWare marinade thing over night...and the dark color is from the Moores.
Black Betty and it was 5:00 somewhere! Yuengling is my Beer of Choice!

They are done....and I wish I had pulled them off just a bit sooner...but it was okay. Would have liked them to be a bit pinker! Not bad for the 1st time!
Here is my plate....Tri-tips, fresh romaine salad, and crowder peas!
AND....home made Blackberry Cobbler for dessert....and that is another post today!
My Hubby said....this was amazing. Now...he didn't want me to get the Weber anyway! HA! He has found out he really likes what I have done on her so far!
