Yea I he's south Cali are rampant with the javalinas (smaller wild pigs) as Mexico has a ton and even charges people for guided hunts but they are perfect for smaller smokers!
these are wild pigs, domestic ones that got out and have become wild and breading, hundreds of pounds. The javilina are actual the rodent family, but look like small pigs, maybe up tp 80 lbs, fun to hunt good barbecued
Yea there are a lot in south Texas also, thy do look line a rodent, but more of a pig, and yes very tasty. That's crazy about the domestic pigs maybe I should plan a trip up there and help out talks situation! Haha
