It's a good day for smoking

Hi everyone,  It's a beautiful sunny warm day in the Black Hills of SD, finally!  This is my first day for using my MES 30.  I was up at 4 AM and started the smoker.  At 4:30 the brisket went on with  mixture of hickory and pecan.  It smells so good and I have BLUE smoke.  Also have a rack of spare ribs I'll put on a little later.  Can't wait to see the results.

Howdy BH,  Can't say I've ever had a bad day to smoke though some are more comfy than others.

Enjoy your bounty, sounds good.

Thanks everyone for the welcome!  Checked the brisket when I put the ribs in. Hope it's as good as it looks.

Thanks everyone.  I have to tell ya, the brisket was very good and love the idea of putting it in the cooler all wrapped up.  When I took it out of the smoker I removed the point and chunked it for burnt ends.  So while the flat was in the cooler the burnt ends smoked away. MMMMM  Ribs were good but I need to practice.  They are really good when I smoke them in the weber and usually take about 4 hours.  We have lots of left overs for the week for just the 3 of us.  Lucky aren't we.
