Hey guys, I'm Phil. I live north of Detroit. On Monday night had this crazy thought to smoke something, and I found this site poking around the internet looking for advice. I have a Master Forge charcoal grill that I attempted to use as a smoker and smoked a whole chicken. It was difficult to say the least to control the temperature (the grill doesn't exactly seal well so controlling air flow was tough!) but somehow the chicken turned out ridiculously delicious. My wife and I were very excited how good it turned out! I'm learning a lot from my first experience and from reading on this forum and the 5-day ecourse. Can't wait for this cold weather to go away so I can attempt something else!
