Masterbuilt 40"

Just wanted to pop on and let anyone who is looking for the new generation MES 40" that Sam's Club is carrying them again and they are $299.98. I picked up today and cant wait to get it seasoned and see how it works.

Hopefully Masterbuilt has the issues worked out now. 

 

I was clicking channels on cable today and saw QVC had a 40" 4 rack Masterbuilt model with no window for $180'ish before shipping. It looked like the Sam's club 40" except it had no window in the door (just solid stainless outer skin) and had the digital control in the back of the top just like the 2012 and earlier models.  I think it was a one day price though.

Thats a good deal. The window is nice, but would take one without at that price.....

It was 30 inch.... Not the 40

Yes I have...lol.... I seasoned it on Wednesday and then 2 slabs of St Louis style ribs yesterday. It was so nice being able to just lay the whole rack out on the shelf and not having to cut it in half. Ribs came out great and like all the temp is off a little by what my Maverick was saying. Glad I broke down and got it.

I'm going to take and order it also!! Are u using a stand? I'm thinking of getting that as well..

I didnt purchase a stand, but I did have a old black plastic shelf units and I put it on a section of that and it was kinda wobbly. Im just going to build me a base for it.
