Right in the very bottom of this stove i put a high pressure turkey fryer burner. It works great, easy to control my temperature by adjusting the valve on the regulator... What i want to address is the times i want to do long all night cooks i want to put a thermocouple with it so it shuts off the propane if the flame goes out.
I don't have any issues with it going out but want the peace of mind that i can go to sleep on all night cooks.
I'm not a plumber and just know the basics... Will this universal thermocouple in conjunction w/ a pilot light and some kind of control valve solve my problem or can the thermocouple be fastened to the burner so it's in contact with the flame and hooked up to some kind of valve. Like i said all i want it to do is shut off the gas if the flame goes out. Eventually i'd like to have some type of automatic temp control but that's not paramount right now as it stays pretty steady once it's warmed up.
Any help would be appreciated!!! Thanks, Keith
