Came by the site by pure mistake.  I was looking for the directions for my new Masterbuilt propane smoker my hubby bought for me (as I had somehow lost them) and this site came up.  The initial set up instructions from the gentleman that posted a pic by pic instruction was spot on.  Better than the almost zero direction given by Masterbuilt.

Made the foil adjustments as recommended and my first smoke of a whole chicken turned out beautifully.  The kids were playing out back yelling from time to time - "It smells so good when can we eat!"

Gonna take the recommendations of a larger water pan and possible replace the wood chip pan for a cast iron as well as try to seal the door better to keep more smoke in the smoker (waiting for my dad to show up to help with the last project - he loves doing that kinda stuff).

2nd smoke was chicken breasts rubbed with mustard and sprinkled liberally with dry rub wrapped in bacon.  The were sooooo good.  Can't wait to try a fatty in the smoker!

Sent a link of this site to my older brother in MS.  He got me started on this with his own smoking addiction.

Thanks for all the insite, recipes, advice and banter on this site.  It has been soooo helpful.
