A buddy of mine came out for his Birthday to watch the Masters so I fired up a never used Char I got on Craigs years back. It has been sitting in the garage for four years, figured it was time to fire it up. I had to let it burn off the paint on the firebox for a while. Word to the wise do a test run, the paint on these types of units is useless. I had time so I didn't care if I had to wait.
I did some mods on it quick. Some flashing to bring the smoke down on the pipe, an old baking sheet for a baffle, and raised the grate in the firebox.
Had to hurry up and take pics of the finished product before they were gone! The ones on the platter are what was left of 60! Enjoy!
