Great Smokey Mountains
Appropriately, I'm in the Great Smokey Mountains, lol good place for a smoker huh?     I'm brand new at this but have been reading and drooling over all the pics posted on here for some time now.

Figured I'd start small so my first purchase was an MES 30.  I did a little digging around and managed to locate what I think is a Gen 1 even, but not 100% sure.

So far, I've succeeded with smoking chicken pieces, salmon, turkey and my first ever pork shoulder is in there now.  Hopefully pics to follow. :-)

Thanks for all the great information on here and keep it coming.  Newbies like me learn from all your experience.
