For years I been planting a small veg gardens and for years have had poor to lousy results. In 2012 I joined SMF and heard about the NFG. Sounded like it would be a good time, maybe learn some new smoking technique's. Well I got so much more, 1st meet some great people, learned how to properly cure meat, make sausage, and of course ate some amazing food. I had no idea that I would learn more useful information about gardening than I every had before. Our host at that NFG, Jerry is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to gardening and very willing to share is experience. So in 2013 I think I'm actually going to harvest some vegetables. Plants include Tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, collards, onions, corn, green beans, pole beans, sugar snap peas, egg plant, basil, and thyme. Thanks, Jerry
