Need some help "Chef Willie"

Also have a MF, was ready to chuck it then saw your thread on the door sealing. Did that but having trouble with the glue, no stickum.  Did you use the glue that came the rope? Mabe if Chef Willie dosen't see this and someone else can help it would be appreciated.

There's another way that is a lot easier than trying to glue the rope on.
Get some high temp RTV silicone and run a small bead along the edge of the door where it mates with the cabinet (after cleaning it very well of course). Cover the RTV with some plastic wrap and shut the door. When the RTV is fully dried open the door and peel off the plastic wrap. You now have a form fitted gasket.
 
Yeah, the stickum that came with the rope wasn't that great. I wound up at Home Depot and got a tube of adhesive that was for high temps. That worked pretty good for me. I wasn't to concerned about high heat preferring a low and slow approach and those units are pretty thin walled. I'm not familiar with the RTV silicone mentioned above...that seems pretty slick. Good luck
