Hello everyone, i am a new member in the forum and my name is Nikolas
I live on the Greek island of Kefalonia which is situated in the Ionian Sea, furthermore the village i live is near the sea and is really dense in terms of forestation (cypress trees and holly oak trees almost everywhere), also the humidity is really high (average 80).
I am 31 years old and my main hobby is spearfishing/freediving and a lot of cooking.
I have been doing a lot of salted fish fillets and herbs that are in abundance on the island for the past 4 years and i really want to get into smoking.
My main interest would be primarily sea-bass fillets and some cheese and maybe later try to experiment with meat (the island is full of goats and sheep).
I am looking to gain insight on smoking and find out with your help potentially which electric smoker would be ideal for me; the biggest probability would be the smoker to be situated indoors (it is not absolute though).
I would rather have an electric one that doesnt need much attention during the process (i really have limited time) and my budget would be up to 600 euros (something like 770 dollars i think).
If i could use the sawdust from the local trees I think it would be very convenient and ideal.
