Hello all, I just decided to join the SMF. I have received the newsletter for the past couple years and really enjoy it. I just start exploring the SMF over the past month because I made a new grill/smoker purchase. 

Currently I reside in Fairfax, Virginia, USA. I just moved here from the great city of New Orleans. I developed my smoking methods in NOLA with my first smoker the Brinkmann Charocal Gourmet Vertical Smoker. It has served me very well over past 4 years. I recently purchased the Char-Griller Grillin Pro 3001 with the additional side Fire box. I needed a propane grill for the wife and found this interesting grill/smoker combo. I read some reviews on SMF and made my decision. I have also noticed a lot of mods on the site for the char-griller and open to any suggestions. I have fired up 3 times since purchasing 2 weeks ago (weather permitting) and can't wait to get it going and share the love on here.
