I found a recipe on the web yesterday and thought I would give it a try.......
The INJECTION.
Ingredients
1 stick unsalted butter
1 1/2 cup regular beer (1 beer)
1 Tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 Tsp. garlic powder
1 Tsp. paprika
1 Tsp. salt
The Slather.
1/2 Cup your favorite BBQ sauce
1/3 Cup Dijon mustard
The SWEET AND SPICY BBQ RUB
Ingredients
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup salt
2 TBSP chili powder
2 Tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 TBSP garlic powder
1 Tsp ground cumin
After Injection,Slather and rub I covered them with bacon and sprinkled with the rub.
Smoked with Cherry Wood for 3 hrs. till a internal temp of 160.
I threw some beans together and put them in for the last hour..... sorry no pic of the beans.
Family loved it and told me to hang on this one....
