Smoked the potatoes (2 hours only) and stew meat with mesquite for about 3.5 hours. Then, added the cubed potatoes and stew meat to the slow cooker for another few hours. I would have made the cornbread on the smoker too, but there was no more room. Best beef stew I've every made! I never knew beef stew could taste this much better, considering this stuff was always FANTASTIC!
