I have not had much luck in the past with starting veggies from seeds but decided to give it another go this year. My question to more experienced gardeners is should I thin out the extras now or let them go till closer to actual planting? The tomatoes are numerous and the mamouth sunflowers in the front are getting spindly (?). Time to replant them deeper? The cocozelle squash seems to be doing very well IMO. The green beans in the rear just seem to have shot straight up...this normal? they are a bush variety so shouldn't get to tall (supposedly). Thanks...getting the gardening itch

They're leggy because of not enough light, high temperatures also contributes.
If you intend the thin, it's best to do it now.
Beans and squash are typically direct sown into the ground.
How long before you can plant outside there?

Hmmm, I have raised beds that I covered with plastic & hoops to overwinter so drainage is good. Weather is warming up now although still some early mornig frosts. I could probably get most in the ground, except the toms, in a few weeks especially if I recover them to create the greenhouse effect. Guess I started to early just to start something....lol.
