Hello all, newbie here. Ive been reading a lot of good stuff and one thing that peaked my interest was the reverse sear of steaks. Decided to give it a shot last night. It turned out great. Here are some pics...
Ribeyes before being seasoned
Seasoned with soy (just a few dabs) then rubbed in, Lowerys Seasoned Salt, and garlic powder
Let them sit to room temp while I got the smoker ready. Used some hickory and got the smoker up to 200 and on they went
A pic of the smoker doing it thing
Out of the smoker with an IT of about 115 and getting a good sear
The end result. A good medium rare and they were wonderful.
Thanks for looking guys and gals!!
