My wife is going out of town with her mom for the weekend so it's just me, Trevor, and the smokers....what to do, what to do.
Thought I would feed my father-in-law and the wife's great uncle. I originally planned ribs but got started too late. So while in the market I found this wisp of a brisket....a whole 2.5 pounds and thought, what the heck, I can get that thing done by 5:00 p.m., I'll give it a shot.
So here we go...
Fat cap trimmed & scored - brisket rubbed
Pecan in the AMNS...
The baby brisket in the MES...
Now we wait...at this writing the IT is 84 and the smoker temp is 230...time for a beer!
