New to smoking ladies and gentlemen...

Had the day off so I decided last night to brine a chicken, and smoke it today!

Nothing fancy just a little butter garlic injection under the skin in the breasts & legs, and a little applewood dry rub.

Hit it for about 4 hours on my Brinkmann charcoal smoker with just a bit of apple wood chunks...

Thoughts?

Looks nice Tyler, Skin looks crisp.

bird was super juicy... personally I couldn't be happier with my first ever attempt. I was talking with my wife tonight about how this is one of the odder hobbies she thought I had picked up... I have already been exploring the options of purchasing a considerably larger smoker as well!

ps. also my first time ever carving a chicken up, including "quartering"...

That's the idea , Tyler...
