First off let me start with " what a great place here"! Very new to this and have been looking here for recipes and figured I'd say thanks. I'm in Kansas city MO and bought a 40 dollar brinkman and did a brisket on it, had great results but, had trouble with temperature control so went and bought a Weber Smokey Mountain 18...LOVE IT!, kinda went full bore and did some ribs, salmon and trout, all turned out great. Was off work yesterday due to blizzard and made a nice windbreak, fired her up and put on a pork butt, neighbors thought I'd lost my mind! Turned out beautiful. Gearing up for tommorow as I'm going to try rolling some 'fatties'. I'm fairly sure it will be a success all due to the advice on this forum. Thanks all of yas, happy smoking!
