I decided to skip the foil stage and smoke baby back ribs for a full 5 hrs. The chicken is a bonus.

After 1 hr of smoke


After 2 hrs of smoke flipped the thighs and moved closer to coals to crisp the skin. Also basted with bbq sauce.


After 2.5 hrs total we enjoyed some chicken thighs while the ribs finished. Excellent idea. . .


After 5 hrs total with hickory smoke the whole time. They had an excellent smoky pork flavor. These disappeared fast!
