Another Shun on the block.
This knife is used and shows surface scratches. The scratches are not as bad as the photos show, but make no mistake, this is not "out of the box" new. The scratches can NOT be felt with a fingernail drawn along the surface of the knife. The handle is blemish free, as is the cutting edge. I.E. No chips on the edge of the blade. I have sharpened this knife 2 - 3 times with the Edge Pro sharpening system, using Chosera stones. The knife is very sharp, in fact sharper than when it was new. It will slice typing paper effortlessly along the entire edge of the knife.
I would rate this knife in "very good" condition. Below Excellent and Like New.
This knife has been discontinued by Shun, but I did find one (new) on Ebay with a buy it now price of 119.99 plus 7.50 shipping.
