Hello, I'm a newbie named Neil. I'm currently overseas and on my R&R my brother smoked up some nice ribs. My brother is a master brewer and now smoking different meats. I think the two go hand in hand. I owned an older smoker years ago and really had no idea what the heck I was doing. I'm now looking at a Masterbuilt 30 "Smokehouse" smoker. I have only looked on online and have read reviews from owners. I would like to go the electric route considering my family really enjoys going camping in the pop up and I would like to take the smoker with me. If you all have other ideas please let me know. I will use it quite often. I also own a Weber Genesis gas grill for home use. I love it!! I have 1 month left and I have been dreaming of doing a Pork Butt, Ribs and Fish. Well, just about everything I can throw in the thing, why have one sitting around if that were not the case.
