My first Fatty...can not wait!


Sorry no Q-View but I was in the middle of smokin some summer sausage and was up to my elbows in a mess.

This is a basic breakfast fatty stuffed with hash browns, onions, cheese and scrambled eggs. Thanks everyone with sharing the how to's for prepping these things (I hope that they are not addicting).

I will try to get some pics of the smoke tomorrow.

I ended up smoking it at 275 and I am not sure why you would want to cook it at a lower temp. The bacon turned out great, not saying it was crispy but nicely done.

Looks great and nice work on the bacon weave.  Generally you will not get crispy bacon in smokers due to the temp range we normally smoke at.  Nothing says you can't throw it on a hot gasser to finish it off if you want crispy bacon on the outside though.
