I am thoroughly impressed so far. I have never had this smoker control so well. +\- 10 degree is the only swing I've been dealing with so far. I have made minor adjustments to the lid vent but I doubt they were actually necessary. Just me bring paranoid probably.

Nothing to write home about. We had some very wet and heavy snow this morning that couldn't even accumulate on the grass. Then light rain and now I see a flake every now again but that's about it. You?

IT already at 151, but since the charcoal is still holding, I am going to keep it on the smoker as long as I can

Next steps are in question. IT at 160 now. Charcoal holding, but I need to shoot for completion around 6ish. What do you recommend? Transfer to the 275 oven?

Now is about the time that you will see a stall that can last from an hour to 3 hours.

If time is of the essence I would say foil it and if you must, transfer to the oven.  Just keep monitoring your IT, that is what is most important.

One other really important step....Q-View!
