Yeah about that. LEM disn't package the stuffer for shipping, just stuck a label on the box. She took the day off and was home when it arrived. Whatever happened to "discrete" packaging!!!!!

Pam cooking spray on the o-ring and your good to go...... When storing the unit wash and dry the unit. Pam the o-ring and bring it down to the bottom of the stuffer. do not add any additional lubrication to the unit as it will attract dust. cover with a unscented kitchen trash bag to keep dust off of it or replace it back in the box. When using wind up the plunger, rinse the stuffer, Pam the o-ring again and Pam the inside of the stuffer then fill. A light coat will do...... Make sure you remove the o-ring every time you clean the unit. Giblets will get behind the o-ring......Yuk

Thanks for the tips!

Sweet set up! Too bad on the interception. If you could have got it before the wife, you could play my favorite card, "what... this? I've had this in the shed/basement/garage/under the seat of my truck forever. Don't you remember when I picked this up?!?!"

I figure it's okay for me to do it since every time I see the wife with a different Coach bag she always says, "I've had this forever, you just never notice..."

You only get the plain brown wrapper is you add some p@rn to the order.

You should let your butcher know he has some competition now, he'll know what to do. Order more Butts, and raise the price! LOL

You are going to enjoy it and we'll get to see some new ideas, I know! I am sitting here laughing about the stacked tamale pots you showed once before, was there 4 or 5? I can see 'em all now filled with sausages.

Its like smoking bacon, once you get started...........

Yep was 4 tamale pots high! Honestly I will probably use the GOSM for sausage smoking. I can control the lower temps best with it. I have a 1500 watt Brinkman element that I want to put in the GOSM and control with a PID. Another project I'll need to do... I thought about putting it in the UDS too, but I think the GOSM will work better. I won't permantely install it I want to be able to remove it so I can still use the propane.
