Hey everyone.

I've got some wings on the smoker right now and I wasn't sure what temp I should take them off at. I really didn't want to look at them as I've already had trouble keeping the smoker temp up.

Thanks

Bb

There is no accurate way to take a internal temp on a wing, always cook to time. I cook them at 325°-350° for 20 minutes.

You don't give a cooking temp so it will be difficult to help you.

How long have they been on?

I never check temps on wings, there is just not enough meat on them to get a probe into good. After 2 - 2.5 hours I will look for a nice golden brown color and pull back around the ends, I will also feel for the skin to start to get crispy.

I smoke them at about 250* for a couple of hours then crank the temp to 300* - 350* until they are done.

They have been at about 200 for 2 hours. In having a lot of trouble getting my MES up to temp.
If you have a gas grill you could put them on there to finish or some people even deep fry to finish or maybe put in the oven at 350* to finish.
