Hey all,

Smoking a smaller cut brisket tonight (7lbs) and now that I am a new found supporter of foiling, I was wondering if anyone had any foiling juice recipes that are good with beef that are quick and easy to make. Could also use a good BBQ sauce recipe that would be good for a brisket. I've got Carolina recipes but could use some new fresh ideas of how to finish this brisket in the morning when it gets done. Thanks!!
 
What I did with mine....is put them in a foil pan and then put foil on the top.  That way you can save all of the juicy goodness.

I can't find the links right now...but Jarjarchef and Chef JimmyJ have some great finishing sauces for briskets.  Some one else may have the links saved somewhere.

Anyone ever thought of using about a 1/4 cup Worsty, 1 tsp garlic and a tsp onion as a foiling jus for brisket...something I just got to thinking about...what say you?

I say do what makes you happy and if it works out - GREAT.
