Hello everyone.  I have been all over this forum for a while now soaking in as much as I could with all the great information everyone shares.  I usually dont get very active on forums but after a few months lurkin around here I figure what the heck I'll make a profile and introduce myself.  I dont even do the Facebook thing.  Anyways, I have a Brinkman Trailmaster limited edition sidebox smoker that I purchased about 5-6 months ago.  I'll upload a pic of it if I can figure it out on here.  I have smoked 5 pork butts, 4 whole chickens, 4 slabs of baby backs, and a turkey since I got the smoker and I cant stop.  I believe I have a smoking problem now.  Thanks to alot of helpful people on this forum everything I have smoked turned out amazing.  Thank you guys/gals for sharing what you know to help out newbie beginners like me.  My kids think I'm the best cook now lol.View media item 197756

Its best just to give in to it. Fighting it just causes stress.

Thanks for the welcome.  I already took the 5 day course a while back and learned quite a bit from it and thats why it has takin me so long to go ahead and join because info is so easy to find on here and great explanations on what to do.  Now I just need to do some mods on my Trailmaster I've read on here to help control the temp and make it even out.

to SMF.  Happy you decided to become a member.  This place and smoking foods is an addiction...and I am glad there is NOT a cure (only for some meats)!

If you need any help around the forums...just shout.  Glad to help out!
