A couple of things, on the grinder, I used De Walt quite a bit most of the time it was just replacing the brushes. you can buy some extra and do it your self, wont have to send it off. Should be someone where you bought it to show you how. If that is what it is.

 I would definitely put some top racks in, I have found out you can never have too much cooking area. I will enclose a picture of my rack so you can see what keeps it from falling out when you pull it out to load. Also racks are removable. All the smokers we have built racks are always removable. When you build your racks and the slides leave some wiggle room so the will slid easy. They don't have to be tight.
