Hey all. I cooked some BBs the other day on my Kamado. Came out pretty well, a little more pull than we like but the flavor and moisture was really good.

I used Stubbs briqs and burried some hickory chunks in there. I kept the temp right around 240 for about 4.5 hrs and didn't foil.

I used Famous Dave's Rib Rub

Had to cook some bacon and onions for the baked beans.

Worked up quite a thirst. Nothing a little Woodford couldn't take care of.

Final results. I applied a little bit of Stubbs original towards the end of the cook.

Overall we were pleased but after talking it over, we all agreed that we prefer spares over BBs.

Nice.

I had a hard time deciding whether or not to go with a kamado cooker but after getting used to it, I'm glad I did. From hot and fast to low and slow, it's all good.
