Hello All,

Been Smokin' for just over a year now since my wife got me my Cabelas 7-in-1 smoker.  Pulled pork and brisket are becoming staples in my family functions, but also do a fair amount of waterfowl and pheasant hunting and love smoked goose and wild game.  Started the smoker this morning with a pork shoulder and Jeffs rub.  My wifes rub she cooked up is pretty good, but everyone on here raves about Jeffs so I am trying it.  I know--no pics, no happen-- so pics to follow.  I look forward to all the info and advice I can gleen from this site and admit to having been using the forums since the beginning of my smoke filled journey.  Thank you all that I have "stolen" ideas from to learn getting started, and thank you in advance for any future experience for great grub.  There is a fantastic smell emminating from the easten part of rural Hancock this morn and I have you all to thank for that.  Pics to follow.

To SMF!  We are glad you joined us!   Have you signed up for Jeff's E-Course yet?  If not...here is a link that will get you started.

http://www.smoking-meat.com/smoking-basics-ecourse.html

The E-Course will give you valuable information to get you going as you are learning.

Also...as a newbie here...it will take some time for the system to learn you and your pictures will take a little bit to load.  The more you become active here...the pics will load right away.

Ask some questions in the Poultry forums...you will get bunches of tips and tricks there. http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/f/102/poultry

Happy Smoking today!
