Howdy guys, I took my last new mes 40 back do to the window separating from the door, so hopefully this one holds up better!!!

Picked it up today!!!!
Got it nice and seasoned
Now ever since I made my first PP Boston butt the other weekend, everybody has been begging me to make another one. they said "its the best stuff they ever put in their mouths". This time it's a #8 1/2 so it going to take a little longer. I just put it on.

I will update y'all as the process precedes.

Hope you have better luck with this one...JJ

Looks like you got a great pork butt finishing up

How are the temps in your smoker?

Can you set the controller to 225° and maintain the temp in your smoker, or does it run up well past the set temp?

Did you check the temps on each rack?
