Cold and windy here today. Found this forum years ago but never joined or visited much. Recently bought a Big Green Egg and have used it with success on a few things. Love to cook inside, outside and on the grill. Grew up poor (monetarily) eating lots of home canned vegetables & fruits but my favorites were the homemade and smoked meats...honestly I would give just about anything to have one of my Grandpa's smoked fish again. I have dabbled in smoking rabbits, game birds and fish over the years but just recently got back into this when I got the BGE. Looking forward to using this forum as there is a LOT of knowledge here...just seeing the homemade Canadian bacon pic made me want to drag a pork loin out out of the freezer...man I have a lot to learn but it is going to be fun...my Doc is probably going to have a heart attack though!
