Doing first pork shoulder on new years day . I have an 8.5lb picnic cut pork shoulder with bone in. Any tips,suggestions,and info would be appreciated. I have already learned so much on the forums and I look forward to more tips. Thank You
JMO BBQ just did an 8# Boston Butt last night and he had a lot of questions, probably the same as you will. A butt and a shoulder will cook pretty much the same.
