I just started making sausages last weekend after I saw a couple of videos on YouTube on sausage making and bacon making. I can't wait to get my MES next year. Maybe for my birthday. I am learning how to can and ferment vegetables. Going back to the old time way of keeping food for the hard-times.
 
Thanks guys :) My first batch was made with a KitchenAid Grinder and Stuffer. That was back breaking work. My goal is to buy a 5 pound stuffer from Northern Tools and the grinder, I am not sure where to get that as of yet. I would like something with a large hopper and good motor. Any suggestions.

Moved south last year from Lehighton.
 
A couple of inches of snow on the ground now. Expect about 6-8 in the mountains by Saturday. I may make some chicken sausages for the new year.
