It just dawned on me that I neglected to say hello to all. I have been retired from the military since '95. Retirement did not suit me so I took a series of jobs and settled into the construction field as a field inspector.  I started grilling and smoking with a Weber kettle in the early '70s and after retirement bought a dedicated smoker with a side fire box. While I still have them, I moved up to a gas grill and electric smoker for ease and convenience. As age (and a degree of laziness) sets in, nothing beats the convenience of gas and electric. Sometimes nostalgia creeps up on me and I will fire up the old cookers and do food the old fashioned day.
