Howdy all,

I have been smoking for a few years now, and feel like I'm understanding what I like and what I don't.

Recently (today in fact), I am smoking for the first time with an electric smoker (MES).  Prior to this, I have been completely charcoal and wood chunk.

As I sit and watch the wild Wyoming snow fall, I look at my MES remote control and think "cheating or not, electric smoking is nice."

Anyway, I will be looking around and learning what I can.

Hi all Martintw from Australia just purchased a Master built smoker and now searching out as much info as I can to produce the best possible results. Got to love the Internet the world is now so small to share ideas

I don't think electric is cheating at all. Just a different way to go. I have a WSM , but if I get a chance to pick up a used electric , I'll be on it like a rooster on a June bug! Welcome , by the way.
