they say the black guy fro police academy movie is good but he does whimsical sounds, searched the net for more that did real life sounds,  none compares to one of the finest that is Wes Harrason,  did a search on him and nothing came up,  this guy is lone gone now but you would think i could find something on him,  never checked his family name maby relatives would have more,

anyway long story short, when i was knee high to a grasshopper, seen him at the Tommy Bartlet water and stage show in  Wisconsin Dells and i have a recording of his act on cassette,   i transferred to computer but with allot of dips in sound from the age of the tape.

his sounds of real life are like no other today,

find a place to upload audio i would try it,   but he can replicate in detail all the sounds of an old time loco steam engine building up steam and the wheels start moving and getting up to speed,  the clickaty clack of the tracks, people going out the doors moving from car to car,  crossing signals to the long slow down and cost arriving at the next depot station,

All by mouth and he does alot more,   puts all these other guys to shame.

The guy from Police Academy was Michael Winslow.

Wes Harrison is all over You-tube...

I did find a few places that sell his albums....only a couple places with them on CD..very funny guy...reminds me of Red Skelton.....

wow you guys thank you,  you looked in places i never thought of looking,   when i seen him on stage i was 10 to 12 years old and I'm 46 now,

ya he was like Red Skeleton  doing allot of slap stick but with sound affects done by mouth alone and this was mid to early 70's  the techno back then wasn't really up to par to making the sounds the he did with no help.

is there anyone here that's been to the Wisconsin Dells and seen the Tommy Bartlet show?

the other interesting thing there is the house on the rocks,  it is a must see attraction and its an all day walk,    if you cant finish in one day you can go back the next day and continue on where you left off.
