Hi my name is Rob from North Bergen, New Jersey.  My original bradley 4 rack smoker is being delivered tomorrow and I am very excited.  Over the next few days all the other little things I ordered for the smoker should be here and by next weekend I hope to smoke some ribs.  I have absolutely no experience and I am looking foward to learning alot from everyone.  I do have a quick question, I see alot of people ise a yellow mustard to put on the ribs before the use there rub.  I am allergic to mustard and want to know what else can be used to get the rub to stick to the ribs.  Look foward to hearing from all.

Rob, evening and welcome to the forum.....  for a rub sticker, try mayonaise, lard, veggie oil or even maple syrup.... be careful of the sugar products, they have tendency to burn...

In the search bar, type in anything your want to search for..... It works pretty good....

Below is a search for bradley smoker.... add different words to narrow the search.......

I quit using binders (mustard...) awhile ago. I just pat the meat dry with a paper towel and then apply the rub. I like the rub right on the meat where it can work it's magic without a barrier in between.
