Hi! My name is Apryl, and I live in Florida. I actually used to be a vegetarian, but then met my chef husband while I was in college. He definitely converted me to a meat eater!

Now, 8 years later, I feel very connected to food of all types. We do however love to grill with two of our friends that have a gas grill, charcoal grill and a smoker at their house. It's a meat-lover's paradise over there. haha.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all more!

Hi Everyone! Thank you for such a warm welcome! I will definitely start sharing some photos of my favorite dishes. We plan to have a pretty big BBQ with our neighbors this weekend, so I should have some great photos next week.

And I'm from the Miami area. Born and raised. It's a little busy here, but we always have a good time!

Can't wait to get to know all of you more!

@Roadkill Cafe - Nice one. I work in Aventura, so I go to Deer--- oops, I'm sorry Beerfield Beach often.

@Humdinger - Yes, it's true, we can be. I am still a huge animal lover, but I understand two things now...first of all, if I am the only one that gives up meat, that is hardly going to change anything. And secondly, meat tastes really good.

Okay, so these aren't well-researched and highly intelligent points, but it's just the plain truth! haha
