Howdy, Ya'll... my name is Larry but I go by Elf... I've been a "lurker" on the forum for a while... having been able to find what I needed without buggin' ya'll... But that was when I lived in the South and favored slow-pit bbq... I have since moved back home to OKLAHOMA, albeit on the opposite side of the state from Tulsa... I now live in the Oklahoma Panhandle, about 12 miles from the Seaboard Pig Processing Plant (10 - 12,000 hogs processed per day) and I have weasel'ed my way into purchasing pork products at a discount... hence, yesterday I picked-up a case of pork butts and a case of thick cut bacon... so, standby for a barrage of sausage makin' questions, 'cause I've really got NO IDEA WHAT I'M DOING <smile>...
