Hi from Farmington Utah USA

I currently have an electric cheap bullet looking two rack smoker, its worked well for me for better than five years. I also have a gas bbq for the quick steak. Ive smoked chicken, pork, beef, turkey and fish. I find Jeff's instructions and recipes very valuable. I look forward to the weekly emails with great ideas for smoking.

Hi and welcome.   Your thread title reminded me of an interview I was once on.   During an interview for a position that required a Top Secret clearance.   I was asked what I liked doing in my free time.  I responded "I like to smoke.   ummmm Meat.  hahaha"  they didnt laugh.  I didnt get the job and I think it was because of my response to that question.   I learned that when people ask me about my hobbies to say "I love to BBQ".   Keep it at that.  If they want details then the smoking comment is relative to the conversation.  I also learned that if someone doesnt know what smoked meat is, I probably dont want to work for them any way.

Welcome to the greatest/friendliness "BBQ" forum there is.
