Pork that is...thank goodness for Pork Month.
I've been jonsing for "Q" and with the lower prices , sghe said we could afford some BBQ. SO,I got out today and fired up "Flo" and chunked it in, the M&D-inlaws came by with a rack of Ribs and I put them on to , mnow I have some Tips for the Beans and Cornbread I'm making Fri. , so here's the story...
smoke is right...
in they go...I got to keep the Tips from the Ribs for Pinto's
1.5hrs. and the tips are done and ready for a swim with the Beaners
not a good shot, but the crack as I lifted them...
and there is a happy Father-in-Law...Loves my ribs. You Guts in the Findlay,Ohio area know New Regal ; first meal the in-laws treated me to was there , even for boild Ribs , they were awful, next week I did some for him and He's now hooked , and I get to Smoke for him and get the Tips for me...

Perfect , being diligent is worth the work...
Here's a great rust inhibitor, a mop, some Mexican Lard or regular Lard. Paint this on your Smoker to keep the rust from eating it up. Even though I keep mine in the garage, the change in temps. and humidity in there will gat to it , and once in a while you get caught it the Rain.
The oil will help protect the paint and keep you from having to sand and paint every year.
Well there's a couple hours to go for doneness, so I'll post the ending shots later.
