Hosting Poker at my house tomorrow evening so I am doing a Pork Shoulder, some ABT's and some Monster Chicken Wings (legs).  Since I work tomorrow I will be smoking everything tonight and then reheating tomorrow evening.  The plan is to cook the ABT's and Chicken for two hours and the Shoulder for as long as I can stay up.  I will then throw it in the oven wrapped in foil.  Hopefully everything turns out!  This is my first Q-view!  I have the ABT's and Pork Shoulder on top and the chicken legs on the bottom.  Not sure if that is the proper stacking order?  If it matters?  And of course it has to rain tonight here in Eastern PA!  I'll post the finished product.  Son and wife are in bed already and I have a nice bomber of Hop Stoopid to keep me company while tending the smoke!

Now are you leaving this shoulder in a oven that's turned on??? I hope that the shoulder got up to at least 140° internal temp. You should really get it up to at least that so you don't have any danger of the bacteria stuff starting to grow.

Like Mark I am concerned about food safety. The description of your process does not meet that concern

It was 148 when I took it off and have the oven set at 225 to continue through to 200 so that I can pull it.  Thanks for the tips.

Typically somewhere betweenn 4-6 hours in a cooler is about max, if it was over 200 degrees when you put it in there.  Best bet would be to refreigerate and reheat before serving this evening.
