Hello...I am 30 years old and from south Mississippi. I have always loved to cook but am just now getting into the world of smoking! :) I have always liked a good smoked meat. I just have never had the desire to learn to cook it until now. I am the type that when I BBQ on the grill, I do not use BBQ sauce. I like my ribs dry with the sauce on the side. A lot of my friends would rather use the sauce...which is fine...just not my cup of tea!
I am wanting to learn the art of the slow cooker...of the smoker...of the meat rubs...some good recipes...etc. I am also interested in what type of cooker / smoker is the best. What type do you use?
I am looking forward to trying new recipes and learning all that I can from you experienced guys!
