so last night i cooked a tri-tip for the first time, and WOW!!!

Here was my first method: set up weber for indirect cooking with kingsford briquetts, then added a few large chunks of mesquite, cooked for about 45 min or until 140* internal temp, let rest for 15-20 mins and slice across the grain like steaks.

Had great smoke ring and all!!!   we ate it so damn fast didnt even get pics, but stay tuned, will be cooking many more of these!!!!
